LUNAFEST Film
Festival at Liberty Hall. A national film festival to showcase
short films by, for, and about women. Sponsored by
One
Hundred Good Women and , LUNAFEST encourages women to come together to
share experiences through film. We are pleased to offer this
opportunity to explore the various film topics LUNAFEST offers.
These diverse films embody the unique, humorous, touching,
and inspirational roles of women in our local, national and
international communities through topics such as culture, diversity,
adventure, sports, environment, spirituality, inspiration,
challenges, sexuality, relationships, breaking barriers and
MORE!
Date for the 2008 Liberty Hall show is March 9, 2008.
Show times: 2 pm & 7 pm
Tickets: $8 students & $10 adults
The Film Festival is shown in more than 100 venues nationwide.
LUNAFEST has raised over $140,000 for Breast Cancer Fund plus
an additional $250,000 for local communities. Their threefold
mission: "To celebrate the richness and depth of women's stories
through the art of film. To inspire women in their communities
by providing a forum for women to communicate, share ideas and
make connections. To support women's health with a creative fundraising
vehicle for the Breast Caner Fund and local nonprofit organizations".
