LOCAL NON-PROFITS TEAM UP FOR GIVING TUESDAY CAMPAIGN

 #UnmistakablyGiving Campaign is Underway

Fifteen Douglas County non-profit organizations, the Douglas Community Foundation, and eXplore Lawrence are working together to highlight Giving Tuesday in Lawrence and Douglas County with the #UnmistakablyGiving campaign.

#UnmistakablyGiving showcases area non-profits and provides an opportunity for community members to give one gift that will impact more than 30,000 thousand Douglas Country residents. The Douglas County Community Foundation is collecting donations now through Giving Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Funds collected will be evenly distributed amongst participating non-profits.

The annual Clothing Exchange is here! 

Bring awesome clothes on hangers. Buy other clothes for only $1. Women only, please - no kids or men so that we can all feel comfortable trying stuff on.

Wine, chocolate, snacks are provided. Pay your $10 yearly dues if you can, shop, visit, have a great time.

Annual Meeting & Happy Hour

All the fun kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge located at 1803 W. 6th Street. 

You are welcome to stop by whether you're a current member or have been thinking of joining. This low-key get together is going to be a great opportunity to catch up with friends and make new ones.  

The happy hour will be super-casual; we'll take 10 minutes to let you know about all the great ways 100 GW plans to impact our community in 2017. 

There will be a taco buffet ($7) as well as cash bar, so come hungry.

Fall Sale of the Century!

Donations are still rolling in for this 100 Good Women sale to benefit the Lawrence Community Shelter. Some highlights:

  • $3 per bagful for-Massive quantity of baby clothing, from retail boutique that recently closed. Polo, Carters, Ralph Lauren, etc. Every size and season. Some still have tags, but all can go in the bag!
  • All other clothing $1, we have most sizes both Men's and Women's and lots of juniors
  • An oversized couch, chair and ottoman; trundle bed, desk are just a part of all the furniture donated from our members. 
  • All kinds of household and kitchen items. Heating blankets, breast pumps, baby baths, bouncers, too much to list it all! Priced to sell. 

The Eagles will be selling burgers and drinks.
