Needs

Our current needs continue to be Dillons or Walmart cards to pass along for requests. Occasionally, we are able to take small household items such as:

• dishes, glassware, silverware

• pots and pans

• small kitchen appliances - coffee makers, toasters, blenders

• linens - sheets, etc. in baggies and marked by size, blankets, towels

• Small rugs

• waste baskets

• lamps

• vacuums

All items should be in good, working condition. The rule of thumb is to ask if you would give it to a friend. If you have something to donate email us a info@100goodwomen.org.

Of course, the best way to help is to make a financial donation. Both one time donations and continuing monthly donations are always welcome and appreciated. Requests

The Request Committee and/or the Board of Directors reviews all requests to determine if it is something we can help with. Our goal is to say “yes” whenever possible or to refer to an agency that may help with a need better than we can.

Before you use the Make A Request button, please note:

• We ONLY work with clients that live in Douglas County, KS and are referred by agencies, churches, counselors or those that work with individuals that have a need.

• We DO NOT accept requests from individuals for themselves, friends or family. Please contact a social worker, case worker or agency representative to facilitate the request process.

• AGENCY REPRESENTATIVES: We are unable to help with:

• Cash

• Rent or Mortgage payments

• Housing

• Jobs

• Utilities

• Storage Units

• Please fill out the request portion with detail and you MUST include a reason for the request, name, email and phone (if the individual has one). All information provided is kept confidential.

• We are only able to fill requests once in a 12 month period.
